Hospital Explorer is MedRank’s map and search tool for UK training hospitals. See CQC ratings and GMC trainee satisfaction side by side, filter and sort by score or region, compare hospitals (up to 2 on Free, 3 on Plus), then open a full profile or add a site to your rotation.
Upload your Oriel CSV export and MedRank matches each rotation to real hospitals automatically. Use Smart Rank to order by quality, distance, commute, or a balanced score, review placements on a map, then export your ranked list or apply back to Oriel in one click.
Hospital Explorer is free for core search and comparison (up to 2 hospitals side-by-side). Rotation Builder is free to use in-session. MedRank Plus unlocks saved rotations, compare up to 3 hospitals, detailed CQC service ratings and inspection history, specialty GMC data, filter and sort by trainee satisfaction, and Oriel Ranker (up to 3 CSV uploads per application cycle). MedRank Pro adds unlimited Oriel uploads and rotation sharing.
Yes. Free users can use the full Rotation Builder in the current tab session. If you close the tab, that draft is cleared. MedRank Plus unlocks saved rotations so you can come back later.
